Hello 👋

I’m Joe, a Fitness and Golf Strength Coach based in Surrey. I have over 15 years experience working with clients both in the UK and internationally.

After starting my PT career with Luxury Fitness Club, Equinox in Washington DC, I moved back to the UK as part of the team who launched the brand in London.

During my time with them I gained the Equinox Fitness Training Institute’s Tier X qualification, becoming a holistic coach as part of the team at E by Equinox, St James.

In 2021, I launched J Meare Fitness, after identifying a need for Premium Personal Training in Surrey and the South East, which allows clients the opportunity to achieve their fitness goals with flexibility and accessing my elite PT experience - which i’m proud to say many clients have benefitted from in the region to date.

I offer a holistic approach to personal training and/or golf strength coaching, both in person as well as online, virtual coaching globally - see below for my full list of qualifications:

Creating habit-based change

Training together will encompass every element of life; movement, strength, nutrition, sleep and stress.

Our aim will be to create habit-based change, as the foundations of a health life doesn’t come from a 8-week crash course fitness programme. Education is paramount in my approach to training - I pride myself on giving my clients the tools to approach fitness as a lifestyle and not just a quick fix.

my services

  • Don’t want to commit to a full time Personal Trainer? I offer bespoke training plans where we will discuss your goals on a virtual call and I will build you a bespoke training plan to help you achieve those goals

  • During a free consultation we will discuss what you want to achieve and the holistic approach I take to personal training. I’ll then build you a bespoke plan that considers your ability, fitness goals and schedule. I can visit you at your home gym where we can work through your programme and help you hit those goals

  • Great mobility leads to the foundation of a good golf swing! As a TPI Golf Coach I will assess your swing and help with strengthening and creating a better range of motion through consistent weekly training to excel your golf game and make sure you’re feeling better on and off the course

  • Not based in Surrey / South East or travelling abroad? I offer online training sessions which will provide you with the same outcomes as one-one training in your gym. I’ll make sure you’re still on track to hit your goals via Zoom or FaceTime if you’re not based in the area or want to stick to your plan when travelling abroad
